I spent Sunday out in a beautiful area of Olathe with this couple who could not have been more at ease with each other or the camera. They were so lost in each other that it was easy to capture the love in their relationship. Getting to spend the day with such happy people sure makes me love what I do that much more!

New blog!

I decided it was time to branch off of my long standing personal blog which is almost entirely devoted to my beautiful daughter Aubrey. I wanted to have a place that I could completely devote to my photography.

This blog will be a companion site to my website SJohnson-Photography.com and will showcase recent shoots and my thoughts about them. It will also provide a channel for feedback on my photos and hopefully an opportunity to network with other photographers who can help me with new techniques and ideas.

I will be shooting an engagement session with a great couple the weekend after next. I have known them for a few years now and I am so excited to get the opportunity to help them spread the good news of their engagement. I’m sure we’ll get some great shots that they’ll really love and hopefully you’ll love them too!
